Marcasite Pendant Giveaway

One of the secrets on Post Secret yesterday was from a Baskin Robbins employee who confessed that they give extra ice cream to the kids with mean parents. It just goes to show that everyone can make a difference in the world even if they aren’t in their dream jobs. Along the same lines I give away a piece of jewelry at random hoping to brighten someone’s day and remind them that they are special. The winner can keep the jewelry or pass it on to someone else. To enter the contest read the rules and then comment with who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness.
The prize this week is a small antique style marcasite and sterling pendant with sterling chain.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like “Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.

What a beautiful necklace. I think that I might keep this for myself… I am 11 weeks pregnant tomorrow and the morning sickness (ha! all day sickness) has taken a bit of a toll on me. I think this would be a really great pick me up and is unlike anything I have.
I haven’t left my house a whole lot in the last two weeks so I don’t have a recent act of kindness, unless you count always leaving my change in the containers for charities in the fast food places… I’ve done that a couple of times these past few weeks. Oh, and I cut the front yard’s grass for my husband this weekend, even though it’s normally one of his “jobs.” I think he appreciated that.

That is very beautiful! I would give it to my elderly mother who is staying with me right now. I am taking alot of college classes this summer and she helps me so much with the house and kids.

I can’t even stand to hear any child crying in the stores. My mother-in-law is in her early
70′s and my father-in-law is a few years younger. My FIL served in Vietnam and they adopted a Thai/American baby while he was serving in the Air Force. Their daughter didn’t turn out the best, despite their never-ending battle! Now, my SIL has three children and no husband. My in-laws and left to care for her three children. I would love to surprise
my MIL with your lovely necklace.

I would like to to give this pendant to myself. This winter was very hard financially on my family. The husband has 2 jobs now, while I also work PT and watch the kids, (they come with me). I have a night-out planned with my best friend end of this month and well, I’d like a little sparkle. Thanks.

i really love marcasite jewelry and this is an exqusite pendant. i know that my younger sister would enjoy receiving this pendant for her birthday so i would definitley give it to her. she’s been really stressed out lately and could use a cheering up.

my older sister would love to own this gorgeous necklace. she doesn’t have any marcasite jewelry and she love things that sparkle. it would really make her day because life hasn’t been that easy especially with this economy.

this necklace is so beautiful. my good friend has a birthday coming up very very soon(this week actually) and this would be so nice to give to her. shes such a good person, and shes one of the few people who have always been there for me. i have a card picked out for her, but i dont exactly have a lot of money to buy her something nice, this would be really great to be able to give her. thank you !
