When I was a kid I never wanted to dress up like a ghost or a witch. I guess if I was worried about my figure and didn’t have weight-loss pills a ghost might be a good option. It just didn’t make sense to me why any girl want to be anything other than a princess. Halloween is the one time all year when I get to wear my tiaras without people looking at me strangely.

Sometimes I put on an old prom dress but this year, I’m not even going to bother. I’m going to proudly wear my tiara and my everyday clothes. I wonder if there is such a thing as a pretty witch costume? It would need a lot of sparkles. I guess Glenda the good witch from the Wizard of Oz would be an awesome costume but it would probably read more as a princess or fairy instead of a witch.

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who wear scarves and those who don’t. I am both of those people. Scarves might make you think of a man in a smoking jacket and ascot smoking a cigar or pipe.

I don’t find scarves to be suffocating like some people complain of them being. I find them to be warm and cozy like wrapping up in a blanket. However, for me, they hurt my neck and back after awhile. It’s just a lot of extra weight which is also the reason why I don’t wear necklaces, only earrings. Being able to wear a scarf would really solve my “I hate black coats but that’s all I can find” situation because I’d be able to change up a basic coat. So really I look like the kind of person who doesn’t wear a scarf, but I really do love them. Promise.

I really want a winter coat that isn’t black. Let me rephrase that, I want a winter coat that isn’t black and is also cute and of course affordable. I live in Utah so it should be warm. I’m sick of bulky ski jackets. Sure I can get them in yellow or orange but then I feel like a four year old. Plus, they are bulky so they don’t meet the cute criteria.

I also hike a lot so I’d need somethign that could help me out in an emergency evacuation Wool coats are cute and I can get them in a variety of colors and even patterns. However, they just aren’t warm enough, they are kind of itchy and heavy as well. I guess I really just want a coat that doesn’t exist yet. Is that really asking so much?
