Update: This contest is closed but a new one starts soon!
I was out of town yesterday so I didn’t post Random Acts of Bling. To make up for it this contest will run through Saturday. Random Acts of Bling is a weekly contest where one person is picked at random to receive a piece of jewelry. The winner can keep the jewelry or give it away to someone else. The thinking behind this is that most people have things going on under the surface that they need support in. I think that sparkly and shiny stuff helps in that, at least I hope it does. To enter the contest read the rules and then tell me who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness.
The prize this week are two tone shell circle earrings. They look black in the picture but have a lot of brown and amber tones to them.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 6pm on Friday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like”Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.
If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.
Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

These earrings would fit my sisters personality perfectly. I would love to give them to her for a Christmas present as I finacially pressed.

These earrings are very cool! I know my sister would really love them. This maybe the only way I’ll be able to get her a present for Christmas unless things get better. They’ll really make both of us happy because I’ll have a great gift to give her and she’ll be receiving something very worthwhile that she’ll enjoy for years to come.

I would give these to my wife, because she won’t buy herself anything nice – it usually goes to the kids.

Recently, a family from our church lost almost everything in a house fire. Luckily, they got out alive, as well as their pets! Church member are coming together and collecting clothing, shoes, bedding, etc. to help this family out. These lovely earring would make a wonderful gift for the mother of five children.
Many thanks, Cindi

I would give these to myself. I’ve worked overtime to support the family lately while my husband watches the kids & don’t get to do much for me lately. Of course, i’ll probably feel guilty & give them to a coworker in the end.

My daughter would love these earrings. I would give them to her, as her tight budget doesn’t allow for extras. She works hard to repay her school loans.
