Maybe I’ve finally gotten to the age where I only like what was in fashion in my youth. That can’t possibly be it because I still hate overalls and bodysuits. However, lately I’ve been trying to find a dress to wear to a wedding and also for Easter. At this point I’d take one dress for both occasions even though I’m usually from the school of thought that the more clothes the better.

However, it’s just been impossible to track anything down. I’ve looked in the stores, I’ve looked online and it’s all just so ugly. I don’t think that there is even a name for the style right now. It’s like really short grandma dresses made from hideous prints. Right now I’m just planning on wearing an old dress but looking my best in it. I’ll do my hair, take care of the acne, apply my makeup carefully. Maybe I’ll start asking the store clerks if they have any boxes in the back from 1998.

I had always thought that moths eating clothes was just a myth or something that happened in the rest of the country but not here. I spent my time worrying about what I could see like finding acne solutions and forgot about the rest. So, I packed away my winter things like I usually do and pulled them out the next year. I started noticing that all of my clothes had pin sized holes on them. The first causality of course was my one and only cashmere sweater which will be sorely missed.

I couldn’t find any moths or baby moths in the room. I think possibly it was monsters. After doing research I found that cashmere, wool, silks and other animals fibers were the most susceptible. Luckily I only had one cashmere sweater. Then the whole thing freaked me out and I stopped reading about it. Either way I’m going to have to go shopping and buy some cedar hangers or something.
