This contest is now closed. We all have people in our life who maybe we don’t thank enough. Really if you look around you’ll see that this is a common thread in a lot of people’s lives. It’s amazing that people keep giving without recognition. The idea behind this jewelry contest is that the winner can keep the jewelry or give it to someone else. It can be a reward for someone who’s doing a great job or just needs encouragement. In order to enter the contest make sure that your comment is about who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness. The prize this week is a small fleur de lis sterling silver charm or pendant. There isn’t a chain with this.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special.
The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 8pm on Sunday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like”Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.
If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.
Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

My wife is so wonderful! She never complained when I lost my job and we had to sell our house. She has stuck by my side and has always supported me. I would love to buy her jewlery to show her how much she is loved, but I cannot afford to do that right now. She is the most kind hearted woman who would do anything to help another, and she never asks or expects anything in return. I could go on and on. Something special for her would be wonderful.

I would give this to my mother in law. She loves the fleur de lis design. She and I recently had a rather large falling out and I would love to present this to her as a “white flag”.

I would give this to my manager. She is an inspiration that a homeless person can make something of their life. She has faced a lot of hardships.

I personally know what it is like being homeless. I was laid off then my husband was laid off and we ended up having to live in our truck. He was diagnosed with cancer which forced us to live with family until we could get on our feet. He beat the cancer (NON-HODKINS LYMPHOMA) and we both swore to never being homeless again. We both have jobs now and are helping the homeless that live in the woods near our new home….

This is a wonderful idea to demonstrate uncommon kindness to someone who really needs it. Especially these days.

I would give it to my best friend, to thank her for all her support.
