Sterling Paisley Necklace Giveaway

This contest is closed but a new one starts soon. I was having a bad day yesterday and someone went out of their way to make me laugh, really laugh. It changed my entire perception of the day. So giving away jewelry might be a small thing, but it’s a pretty easy way to brighten someone’s day. After that it’s a constant reminder that something good happened unexpectedly. The winner can keep this for themselves or give it away. You’ll need to read the rules before you enter the contest. Then leave a comment about who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness.

The prize this week is a sterling silver necklace and chain. The circle pendant has this cool paisley print etched on it.

The Rules:

Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special.

The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 8pm on Sunday Mountain Time.

Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.

If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.

Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like “Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.

If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.

Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

It’s Cute But Is It Comfortable?

I really don’t suffer for fashion. I try to be cute and comfortable at the same time. I really adore the new trend in sandals with all of the faux stones and gems. Some of the details really do look like turquoise.

Of course since I’m the princess of everything sparkly the chance to wear jewelry on my feet is almost too tempting. I’ve never worn any of these shoes before so I need advice from someone who has. I know they are cute, but are they comfortable? It just seems like the gems would dig into your fit or at the very least be heavy. Plus, I have wide feet, it’s like they need their very own fat burners. Maybe I’ll just wait until the shoes are heavily discounted then I’ll get a pair for a few dollars. If they aren’t comfortable I’ll donate them, if they are I’ll wear them next summer.
