This contest is closed but a new one starts soon. Random Acts of Bling is my way of combating all of the negativity that just comes from everyday life. Hopefully, the winner will pass this onto someone else who needs it, although they can keep it for themselves. To enter the contest your comment has to be about who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness. Please read the rules before you comment. This contest is going to last until April 9th.
The prize is a garnet and sterling ring, size 9.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special.
The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 8pm on Sunday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like”Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.
If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.
Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.

I would love to give this beautiful sterling silver and garnet ring to my best friend. She really loves gemstone jewelry. This would make a great Easter gift.

What a gorgeous ring. I know that a close friend of mine would love to have this ring because she really loves emerald cut gemstones in a sterling silver setting. The garnets in the ring alone would make her say WOW! Oh how much I would love to win this ring for her!

I would love to give this to a friend, who is selfless. She spends every waking moment taking care of her 2 children, 2 stepchildren and her husband. She has put her dreams on the back burner until the opportunity comes around for her again. I think it would be nice to give her something that says, You are appreciated and thought of too.

Well I would swim in a size 9 ring. I wear 4 & 5′s. So I guess my very big husband. He has always teased me that I got him a ring when we got married from the bubble gum machine. I didn’t. But this would be a cool surprise for Fathers Day… thanks hope I win

Hi there Bling on a Shoestring!
I know this is an old contest but I’m hoping another one comes up soon. I would like to give something like this to a friend of mine who is down on her luck at the moment. The house she and her fiance’ had built is now on hold because of the mortgage process and they don’t know when they’re going to settle now, she has family problems across the board, and to top it off she is having personal depression issues. She could really use a pick-me-up because she is constantly giving of herself to her family, friends, her fiance, everyone and other than her fiance’ she doesn’t receive very much back, even in the form of a compliment. This would really help her. Thank you so much Bling on a Shoestring!

i would love to give this to my girlfriend of 4 years she really deserves it between us we have 6 kids but we dont have any togather so needless to say these last 4 years we havent had any extra money for me to be able to give her any jewelry whatsoever and she doesnt mind she would go without 100 out of 100 times for our kids shes a great person but heres the really sad thing about 2 years ago we were out of town and she happened to forget her 2 nice diamond rings at home in the bathroom and to make a long story short when we got home we had been burglarized and sure enough they got her rings and i dont know if we will ever be able to afford to get her replacement rings so hopefully at least you will consider me for your giveaway thank you chad m
