Will You be Wearing Tangerine?

When Pantone released the color of the year as tangerine tango I at first thought about it from a home decor aspect. I would definitely decorate with it. However, coming into spring I’m also seeing it appear on lots of clothes. While I love the color orange I’ve just accepted that unless I get a very dark tan and change my hair color; it will never look good on me. I’m trying to think of anyone who could actually wear tangerine and look awesome in it. Maybe as a belt or shoes but not for an allover outfit. Will you be trying out tangerine?

Should She Have Told?

Like most everyone else I was shocked to find out that Paula Deen is diabetic and has been for some time without revealling it though. I occassionally watch her show although just for a few seconds. You know how most sweets are just referred to as “sometimes foods”. I think that’s what Seasame Street calls them. However, I think most of her recipes are “once in a lifetime foods” I only plan on eating one of them if I ever visit her restaurant and then I will get out of town quickly. She has a recipe called twinkie pie. Do you think Paula Deen was responsible to disclose her diabettes?

Sucked Into

I have yet to get sucked into the wide world of Pinterest. All my friends keep talking about it but to be honest, all I ever hear people talking about is what a time suck it is – I don’t understand why in the world people would voluntarily sign up for something they know was going to consume all their free time! But you know me, I love being part of a trend so I checked it out with my internet.clear.com connection but I just don’t understand what all the fuss was about. I mean, it’s like a giant bulletin board – what’s the big deal? I don’t get why people seem to think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread when all it is is a regurgitation of other things on the web. I think it’s cool people are able to show off their style and all that but at the end of the day it’s still just a bunch of images pinned to a board – what’s so cool about that? I don’t get it.
