What were you thinking? You are not a blond, you should not be a blond. It doesn’t match your clothes, it doesn’t match your style, it doesn’t match your look. Plus, you’ve been treating the only blond in the shop, Aubrey, as a stereotypical ditzy blond all season. Then one day you show up as the worst blond ever and everyone in your shop raves about it because they are too scared to tell you the truth.
Your style was always so inspiring. You didn’t follow trends, you did what was beautiful to you. I wouldn’t personally get facial tattoos, but it looks great on you. You made me want to experiment with makeup and find the best eye cream and leggings. You look better with black hair. Please go back.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Fan
Everyone that goes on the show LA Ink seems to have a story. They usually make me cry. Sometimes they make me blubber. I usually spend time after the show thinking about the stories & looking up to see if whatever featured charitable organization has a toll free number.
Sometimes it’s the story of triumph. There are a lot of memorial tats & stories of people overcoming illness. I was so caught up in the humanity of the show that I didn’t feel sarcastic about it until this week. After every single piece the client says “Whenever I look at it, it will remind me of….” This is great except a lot of these tattoos are back pieces, which means that the person won’t be looking at it everyday.
I’ve been looking for a new sweater for thanksgiving. Something that is comfortable enough to curl up for hours in front of the home theater but cute enough to wear to dinner. After scouring a dozen stores, I have noticed a trend. All of the sweaters this season have short sleeves. Sure, they look cute, but I live in Utah. It would only be warm enough to wear that in the summer & then it would be too hot. They are making sweaters that can never be worn. Whatever happened to making sweaters that are actually useful? Remember when they used to look like this?
