I love jewelry, especially handmade jewelry. In a perfect world this would mean that I handmade jewelry. Unfortunately, I’m not crafty or strong enough to use pliers. I do try & keep up with what is going on in the crafting world.
With the green movement, I’ve been seeing a lot of jewelry made out of recycled materials. I’ve fallen in love with the idea of a pop tab bracelet. I wouldn’t even have to use pliers. These would make great gifts, or a craft project for teens. All that you need are a pair of headphones to be truly rock & roll. The only problem is that I don’t drink pop. If I do, it comes from a bottle. I’ve seen the same technique applied to making a purse & even a flapper dress. Some people must drink a lot of soda.

I won’t lie, because I’m Sara & I speak my mind. Most diamond engagement rings look exactly the same to me. I find it ironic that an engagement ring is supposed to be an expression of love, but everyone’s seems to be exactly the same.
