You can impress all of your friends with your fake psychic abilities as well as your sense of fashion by guessing who is going to be on the best and worst dressed list of any awards show before the paper comes out. Sure there are some celebrities who are always going to make all of the slide shows and reels. These are the big names who wear dresses that look like they are being held on with clamps.
However, every year there are a few names who you just don’t know. These people will inevitably be the best and worst dressed. They are making the news because of the clothes not their names. It’s pretty easy to figure out which list they will be on using context clues. It’s a simple trick that works every time.

We all have people in our life who maybe we don’t thank enough. Really if you look around you’ll see that this is a common thread in a lot of people’s lives. It’s amazing that people keep giving without recognition. The idea behind this jewelry contest is that the winner can keep the jewelry or give it to someone else. It can be a reward for someone who’s doing a great job or just needs encouragement. In order to enter the contest make sure that your comment is about who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness. The prize this week is a small fleur de lis sterling silver charm or pendant. There isn’t a chain with this.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special.
The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 8pm on Sunday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like”Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.
If you want to link or stumble this post it would be appreciated but is not required.
Comment/trackback/link should be about a random act of kindness or who you would give this jewelry to & why.
Granted, getting that star style is easy. You just sell textbooks and wait for the hottest runway looks to hit the stores a few months alter. Granted these will be the more wearable, less expensive versions. I never really thought about what it takes celebrities to get these dresses in the first place. Then today I really realized it again when Christina Hendricks was talking about how she can’t get a dress because she isn’t a size 0. It’s even worse when you realize that she’s the most beautiful woman on the planet. Pair that with the fact that she’s been slammed repeatedly about her size on the red carpet with the whole “big girl, big dress” thing when she can’t even get most designers to lend her something that will fit. The designers are the ones missing out.
