I was reading J.R.Dunn’s Jewelry Blog & I saw the perfect gift for anyone who wants to buy me an early Christmas present, or a late birthday present. They had a gorgeous eighteen carat diamond emerald cut ring featured. That’s right, I said eighteen carats. I’ve never seen a diamond that big before, but I’ll definitely take it. It’s definitely an investment piece, but it would make a beautiful engagement ring. This is a piece of jewelry that should keep rising in value especially considering how difficult diamonds this large are to come by.
There are a few lessons that can be learned from this ring, especially if you are shopping for an engagement ring. The setting is quite simple so the diamonds are the focal point. Also the ring is a three stone design with emerald cut diamonds. This makes the ring classic & unique at the same time. Celebrities who are wearing emerald cut rings include Eva Longoria & Melania Trump. So, if you are wondering what to get me for Christmas, look no further. I’m a princess, I deserve it, right?

One of my earliest memories is of shopping. Surprise Surprise. We were watching the home shopping channel & they were having a doll show. Of course, I had to have a porcelain doll, & I had saved up $10 from my birthday.
The doll had a price of $120 with a price of $6.95 for s&h below it. I was utterly perplexed as to why anyone would pay the $120, why didn’t they just choose the $6.95? Luckily, someone stopped me before I made the phone call. I do wish that the world really worked that way, it would be so nice to just pay shipping.

Even though I’m no longer in school, I still love this time of year. Back when I was a kid, we got new clothes at Christmas & back to school time. Yup, we just went shopping twice a year
The great thing about being a grown up is that now I can go shopping whenever I want. I guess that technically that means that I don’t need to go back to school shopping, especially since I’m not in school. It’s not my fault that the shoes are so pretty. So do you still go back to school shopping?
