I didn’t know whether I should classify this ring as a right hand ring, or an engagement ring. So I decided to think of it as both. It’s good to be a princess & make your own rules. I almost wasn’t able to write this post because I was just staring at this ring thinking, “It wants to come to my house to live.”
I usually only gush over jewelry that is set in platinum or white gold. However, I really like the gold in this ring, it’s a great contrast to the alexandrite. The design is from Generations 1912. It also doesn’t hurt that there are 66 diamonds in this setting. This ring is the very definition of bling. I’m in love.

I dread July all year long. Not only because it means that I get one year older. I just don’t like rubies. There isn’t even an alternate birthstone for July. Oh, if I had only been born in September like I was supposed too. Then my birthstone would’ve been sapphire, & who wouldn’t want that? My goal this July is to find some great deals on rubies that I actually like & come to terms with my birth month.

Here is today’s moment of jewelry zen. I think champagne are so much more
interesting than white diamonds. This would be my right hand ring of the
week. I just love the contrast, it makes me smile whenever I look at it.
It’s a good thing I don’t own this or I would never get any work done. So, just
sit back & relax & think happy jewelry thoughts.
