This contest is now closed. For the past few days I’ve really been struggling with the concept of the internet. It just seems like people are so negative and willing to point out each other’s faults, assume the worst, and get in fights. Normally, this wouldn’t be a huge deal but I work on the internet, so I really just can’t leave it. Then I headed over to my own blog and saw a comment on last week’s post where someone offered to give the prize to another entry if they won and they didn’t even know each other. This has happened several times before on this blog and it always makes me smile. The thinking behind this contest is that it gives people, including me, a chance to help people and see the good in others. To enter the contest your comment should be about who you would give this to and why or a random act of kindness.
The prize this week is smoky quartz and sterling earrings. They are so pretty that it’s hard to give them away because the gems have a really interesting cut to them.
The Rules:
Please don’t sell the jewelry, it’s to make whoever receives it feel special.
The winner will be chosen by a random number generator at 8pm on Sunday Mountain Time.
Contestants should be over 18 & live in the lower 48 states because I’ll be paying shipping. I won’t sell or abuse your mailing address.
If you’ve already won a Random Act of Bling, you can win again, but please give the jewelry away at random.
Please leave a valid e-mail address, this is how I will contact you if you win. The subject line of the email will say something like”Random Acts of Bling: You Won” I’ll also announce the winner in a blog post. If I can’t reach you then I might have to relist your prize.
