Recently I’ve decided to buy clothes for the life I actually have. It’s a radical idea I know. Part of my closet looks like someday I’ll go to the opera or cocktail parties. I live in the Southwest in a small town and this just isn’t happening. It’s like going out and buying formal dining chairs when your kids just want barstools. So, I’m going to try to find ways to make knit tops cute and even “fancier” so I’m not spending my money on clothes that I’ll never wear. I’m going to spend more money on these pieces for quality items that I actually like instead of my everyday clothes looking slightly frumpy and my “good” clothes staying in the closet.
