We got a grill this summer & I thought we’d use it once or twice a year. Instead we use it several times a week. I’ve never really liked to eat meat honestly, but I’ve found that I love anything that has been grilled. I can really see why people install outdoor kitchens. They are just so great for parties & they make cooking so much easier & more delicious.
I was looking at a site called Werever & they really know everything there is to know about outdoor kitchens. I was really impressed by the quality of their cabinetry. Their cabinets are made from a marine-grade polymer that can withstand even the harsh winters in Utah. A lot of other outdoor kitchens require a lot of maintenance & where is the fun in that? Werever’s cabinets are maintenance free & come with a lifetime warranty. They even have designers that can help you create your dream outdoor living space. The testimonials on this site are absolutely amazing. Best of all, their cabinets are Made In America. They can ship kitchens all over the country. The modular cabinets are easy to put together & they have a lot of styles & colors to choose from. An outdoor kitchen is a must. I used to think that it was just a dream. However, now it’s a necessity to me.

t seems like whenever I think of my dream house, I start to think that it will never happen. It’s just human nature. Yes, having a library in my house should be obtainable, but for some reason it just seems so mystical & out of reach. I think that a lot of us feel that way. We tend to put off the things that we really want for “someday”.
Part of being involved in DIY projects is the idea that I can make things happen. I can get the things I want while staying in a budget. For instance, several of my family members have been wanting a spa. In fact, several of us have chronic illnesses & a hot tub would really help our pain levels. We just never thought that we could afford one. However, it’s just a matter of knowing where to shop.
I was looking Best Spa Covers from HotTubWorks & was amazed at how low their prices are. Especially since they have such extensive customer service on their site. I can’t remember the last time that I saw a website that had this level of phone & email support. There are videos, instructions on how to measure for a spa cover, & very detailed Frequently Asked Questions to help you make the right choice. I also like that these hot tub covers have absolutely free shipping in the lower 48 states. I hate it when companies offer a good deal & then gouge on the shipping to make up for it. That won’t happen with these hot tub or replacement spa covers.
We used to have a hot tub years ago & the cover was always so heavy & full of water that it took two people to lift it. However, Hot Tub Woks has an exclusive heat seal to keep this from happening. The cover is also reinforced so it won’t collapse. These spa covers will really help keep your investment in a hot tub safe. My point is there is always a way to build your dream house. The first step is to stop waiting for “someday”. I’ve looked on the calendar, & “someday” isn’t listed.
I still haven’t gotten to the buying house stage of my life. I’m still dreaming about it. However, I will be a princess someday, & I will get my dream house. I like to keep a list of what I want in a house, the way some women keep lists of what they want in a man. My dream house will have:
1. A music room. No, not to practice piano in. It will just be an empty room with some comfortable chairs & an amazing sound system, designed solely for listening to music.
2. A chaise lounge. I’ve never even sat in a chaise lounge before, but I think it sounds very princess like.
3. Walk in closet bigger than Delaware.
No, I’m not high maintenance, why do you ask?

In my head I can see a small town & a big city both with boxing gloves on duking it out. Decorating can do a lot to change the feel of a home. It however can’t help you if you live in a bad neighborhood. This is why I love living in a small town, lots of wide open space. People wave to each other, in fact they wave to every single car, whether they know them or not. The downside is that usually there aren’t a lot of jobs to be had. In my town the big money making job is construction. Most other people have to commute an hour away to the city to work. Of course the ideal would be a small town with job opportunities, apparently there are some out there.
The big clincher for me is all of the crazy festivals that small towns have. My town has a festival about every month either for a fruit like rhubarb (We do not grow, or consume rhubarb, but we do have a festival devoted to it). It’s like Stars Hallow from “Gilmore Girls”, & isn’t that the dream?
